Our Vision

A Family Focused Ministry

We envision FAITH to be family based in its approach to ministry where the concept of family is taught and lived. It is a dream of families learning the truths of God’s Word so they can be fully functioning as God intended. It is a dream of husbands and fathers functioning lovingly as head of the home, in the same fashion as Christ functions as Head of the Church. We envision wives and mothers who function joyfully in the role that God has given them and children who grow up in a healthy environment where the faith and values of the Bible are instilled in their lives by the love and discipline of Godly parents. It is a dream of a growing church that understands the concept of the ‘family of God’ and lives in harmony as brothers and sisters in Christ. It is a dream of a place where God’s concept of love is understood and lived to the fullest extent possible on earth.

A Unified Church Expressing Itself Through Love

We envision FAITH to be a church of Believers who have grown in their understanding of God’s Word and as a result are able to express their faith and knowledge in a proper fashion. It is a dream of a church that expresses love for God through worship. This would be a place where worship is genuine and contagious because it comes from a deep love for God and a clear understanding of His Word. It is a dream of a church that expresses itself to other believers through fellowship. This would be a place that manifests patience with all people by upholding the weak, comforting the fainthearted and warning the unruly. It is the dream of a place where fellowship exists because sin is properly dealt with according to Biblical principle. It would be a place where all conflict among Believers would be handled in a loving and godly way so that there would be no division among the people of God.

A Church Body Exercising its Giftedness

We envision FAITH to be a church where all believers are active and involved in the ministry of the Body of Christ using their spiritual gifts. It is a dream of a church where spiritual gifts can be discovered and utilized for meaningful and effective ministry. We envision a place where the needs that exist in the Body are willingly met by people who delight in ministering to others. It would be a church where Believers are disciple in the truths of God’s Word and equipped to minister with their spiritual gifts. We dream of a church that is working effectively and edifying itself in love because every part of the Body is ministering.

A Church Evangelizing the Community

We envision FAITH to be a church where individual believers and families are sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the thousands of unsaved people in our community. It would be a church where people are so enthusiastic about the growth and changes God is producing in their own lives and families that they are excited to share the good news with neighbors, coworkers, friends and family. It is the dream of people being salt and light in the world in such a way that their testimony is so dynamic that their faith is contagious and caught because of their example. It is the dream of a church that prepares people so they can share the gospel with confidence trusting God to use them as a witness and testimony for Christ. It will be a church that recognizes God intended some to plant, others to water, and God to give the increase.

A Church With Global Outreach

We envision FAITH to be a church that is passionate about the Great Commission and expresses it by involvement in worldwide evangelization and church planting. It is a dream of a church where Pastors and Missionaries are prepared and sent out to spend their lives in ministry for our Lord. It is a dream of planting churches locally and regionally, in addition to foreign fields, which will extend our vision and enable us to reach people throughout our own ministry field. It is the dream of using individuals and families from FAITH to provide help wherever we can be used effectively to aid in ministry. It is the dream of providing all people of FAITH the opportunity to be personally involved in ministry worldwide.

A Church Connecting With the Culture Through Media

We envision FAITH to be a church that uses media to proclaim the truth of God’s Word to multitudes of people in our world. Because our culture is media driven we envision a church that uses TV, Internet and other means to communicate the message of Jesus Christ. We dream of extending our
influence and making resources available to people so we can spread the truth of the Bible to as many people as possible. It is the dream of using the technologies available to reach a generation that is a high tech people.

Our Guiding Principles

God centered worship exalting the supremacy of God in all things

Worship is the ultimate goal of the church. It is giving God priority in every area of life. The life of a believer is to be God-centered. Therefore, we value the exaltation of God in our lives individually and corporately. It is not about us, it is about God.
(Rom. 12:1; I Cor. 10:31)

Spirit controlled living manifesting the Holy Spirit in our lives

We believe that the life of a Christian controlled by the Holy Spirit is the life that loves and obeys God. Therefore, we value the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer knowing that such an individual will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh but manifest the fruit of the Spirit relationally.
(Gal. 5:16-26)

Biblical truth communicated in a Christ-like transformational manor

The Bible is God’s absolute truth. A life is transformed by the Holy Spirit through the truth of God’s Word. Jesus Christ is the model for communicating truth. Therefore, we value the communication of truth in a creative manner that provides the hearer with a clear understanding.
(Romans 10:17; Heb. 4:12; I Tim. 3:16)

Grace oriented service ministering in evangelism and decipleship

We believe that God, by grace, has enabled every Believer for a life of service. We further believe that Christians should serve God from a heart of love not duty. Therefore, we value Believers serving the world through evangelism and the Body of Christ through discipleship.
(Rom. 6:14; Eph. 4:11-14; I Cor. 12-14)

Family based relationships governed by the concept of love

We believe God’s most significant creation is the family and God’s most significant concept is love. Therefore, we value a right relationship with God and others. We strive to build loving relationships in our physical and spiritual families and to manifest love to our neighbors.
(I Cor. 13; Rom. 12:10; Eph. 5:22-6:4; Gal. 5:14; Deut. 6:4-7)

Sincere prayer empowering our ministry with divine strength

We believe that God desires His people to pray and that He hears and answers prayer. Therefore, the ministries and activities of this church must be empowered by prayer in their conception, planning and execution.
(Matt. 7:7-11; James 5:17)
